3. Derek Carr – Week 5

Derek Carr is one of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL. If it had not been for Carr breaking his fibula late last season, the Raiders could have made a push to the Super Bowl.

Carr has dominated the Ravens in the past. In two games played against Baltimore, Carr has thrown for 550 yards and seven touchdowns, with an interception. He has two game-winning drives against the Ravens, with last season’s game ending by a score of 28-27 when Carr threw a touchdown pass to Amari Cooper with 26 seconds left.

Hopefully, the additions the Ravens have made to the secondary this offseason pay off when Baltimore faces the Raiders this season, because Carr has torched the Ravens in the two games he has played against them.

It should also be taken into account that the Ravens will face Roethlisberger and Carr in consecutive weeks (4 and 5). Before the week 4 game against the Steelers, the Ravens will be in London playing the Jaguars. Weeks 3-5 could be the toughest part of Baltimore’s ’17 schedule.
