5. John Ross:

I want to make it crystal clear, that Ross is on this list solely for injury concerns. Ross has had a troubling list of injuries. He missed the 2015 season due to injury and there are some teams that won’t go anywhere near him. Ross could be a player who is consistently in the trainer’s room, and off and on injured reserve. Ross is a great player, but he is a great risk.

From a talent standpoint, Ross is special. Ross is going to be a good player when he is on the field. He is a very misunderstood player. Ross is not a burner. He is a burner who can do it all. If the Ravens took Ross with the 16th overall pick, it would make some sense. Ross is one of those players that can make a huge difference.

With Ross, it boils down to predictable health. If the team doctors are comfortable with Ross’s injuries, the Ravens can justify the pick. It is however a huge risk. That’s the definition of boom or bust.
