2. Cam Robinson:

Remember when D.J. Fluker was going to be the Chargers savior at the left tackle position? Fluker was drafted by the Chargers in 2013. He spent some time at left tackle, some time as a guard and this offseason he was cut by the Chargers. Now he is with the New York Giants. Fluker was never really what he was expected to be and now another Alabama offensive tackle reminds me of him.

Robinson’s biggest claim to being a first round pick is that he looks the part. He is 6’6″ and he wieghs 332 pounds. Robinson has the size and the strength and because of that, he is in the conversation. I just don’t see anything other than the measurable traits.  with Robinson. This is from NFL.com’s NFL Draft profile on him, by Lance Zierlein

"” The tape shows a player with the traits and physical ability to be a good NFL tackle, but his balance issues and inconsistencies as a pass protector are a concern. Robinson is a candidate to be overdrafted due to the position he plays and his size, but buyer beware as some of his deficiencies might not be easily correctable."

This just has D.J. Fluker written all over it. This is not a new story in the NFL Draft. There are often players that look the part that don’t pan out. Robinson has the things you cannot coach. It could go either way, but I want the Ravens to stay far from Robinson.
