The Ravens have their #1 draft pick for 2017

The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft is coming to an end, and the Ravens made their selection at number 16, taking Alabama cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

The selection seemed to catch people off guard, because the Ravens have positions on the roster that are in higher need than cornerback. There were also better players than Humphrey on the board when the Ravens selected him.

Although all of this may be true, the pick makes sense for the Ravens, and here are three reasons why.
