The Baltimore Ravens have gotten better on defense in the 2017 NFL Draft. How should we grade their draft? Let’s discuss that starting with the 16th pick.

The Baltimore Ravens pick of Marlon Humphrey makes a lot more sense than a lot of fans want to admit. Instead of forcing a pick in the first round, the Ravens took a great cornerback. Humphrey was my 10th best player on the board, so I’m not going to argue with the value. The Ravens secondary is now set. The purple and black have fixed their biggest problem with the additions of Tony Jefferson, Brandon Carr and now Humphrey. The Ravens got a good player. That’s what matters here.
The wide receivers all went in the top 10. The Ravens could have taken Reuben Foster or Jonathan Allen, but they took the player they were most comfortable about. I have to admit, it’s nice to have a first round draft pick that I don’t have to worry about. Humphrey is going to be a good player for a long time.
. CB. Alabama. MARLON HUMPHREY. B
