The Baltimore Ravens have taken Jermaine Eluemunor with their 5th round pick. This player is raw and the Ravens still don’t have a wide receiver:

The Baltimore Ravens would have been wiser drafting Isiah Ford or Malachi Dupree. The wide receiver position is still the Ravens biggest need but Ozzie Newsome doesn’t seem to think so. This pick is frustrating. There were better players on the board and they took a really raw player that won’t help the Ravens in 2017.

Eluemunor was a guy the TV analysts were talking a lot about because he is a good story. The Ravens offensive tackle is from London and he came into playing football years later than most of the other draft prospects. He really only had one year as a starting offensive lineman at Texas A&M and to be honest wasn’t even in my radar for the fifth round.

I like his potential. He is a good athlete with good size and strength. I am just worried about what the Ravens will really get from him. This is a player who is developing. This is a player that probably isn’t going to plug into the Ravens starting offensive line in 2017. In the fifth round that’s okay, but not exciting. If the Ravens were going to go with an offensive lineman, I would have preferred Isaac Asiata who went later in the round.

The Ravens made a pick that could pay of in time, but I’m not feeling it. At some point the Ravens are going to have to give Joe Flacco somebody to throw the football to. That doesn’t look like it’s going to happen in the NFL Draft.
