Forrest Lamp

I am a fan of the two lineman the Ravens picked up in the draft. Siragusa could start this season and Eluemunor is a project with a ton of upside. However, the Ravens missed a very good offensive lineman in the second round of the draft and that is Forrest Lamp.

It would have been a reach to go for Lamp at #16, but the Ravens could have moved up in the second round. I think Lamp was the best, if not second best offensive lineman in this draft. He has the ability to play at guard or center. He does not have the arm length to be an NFL tackle. The Ravens have a hole to fill at center and Lamp would have been the perfect fit. I have no doubt he is a starter week one of this season. Even if meant trading a pick or two, it would have been worth it to get him. I understand the possibility of signing Mangold in free agency, but that’s a short term solution to a long term problem.
