1. How Will The Offensive Line Shape Up?

The Ravens offensive line is missing two starters from the past season. Rick Wagner got signed by the Detroit Lions, leaving a vacancy at the right tackle position. If the season started today, the Ravens would probably have no choice but to throw James Hurst out on the field. This is a situation that Baltimore fans should hope to avoid. Alex Lewis could move out to right tackle, though the idea of keeping him at left guard a good one. Right tackle is the biggest issue for the Ravens offensive line. In the worst case scenario, John Urshcel is the Ravens starting center. There could be much worse situations.

The biggest problem the Ravens have is actually kind of a good thing. The Ravens have a surplus of talent at the guard positions. Alex Lewis, Nico Siragusa, Marshall Yanda, John Urschel and Jermaine Eleumunor all are natural guards. Urschel has some experience at center. Siragusa could be moved to the center position in his rookie season. The Ravens depth at tackle is laughable. If anything happens to Ronnie Stanley, the Ravens are in a really bad spot. If something happened to Yanda, the Ravens would take a hit but would survive. Today, it looks like one of the Ravens guards will play center. Right tackle looks much more troubling.

There are many different combinations that are possible for the offensive line. At the end of the day, we don’t know how the offensive line will set up when the season gets kicked off against the Bengals.
