The Brian Billick Region:

Some of the pairings in the Billick region are quite interesting. We have already talked about the intrigue in the battle between Bart Scott who is a seven seed and Tony Siragusa who is a 10 seed. Other key battles include Eric Weddle vs. Matt Birk and Ray Rice vs. Jermaine Lewis.

This is a fun region to start everything off. It’s pretty obvious that Trent Dilfer isn’t going to advance, but it’s good to include him as a Ravens legend. Dilfer stabilized the offense and gave the team leadership and poise as they pushed toward the Super Bowl. Jamal Lewis is one of six running backs who have had a season with over 2,000 rushing yards. Todd Heap gave everything he had to the Ravens, and Baltimore will always remember that. The talent in this region is amazing. This region should be fun all the way through. Here is a look at each contest:

  • 1. Ray Lewis Vs. 16. Trent Dilfer
  • 8. Eric Weddle Vs. 9. Matt Birk
  • 5. Todd Heap Vs. 12. Kyle Juszczyk
  • 4. Jamal Lewis Vs. 13. LeRon McClain
  • 6. Justin Tucker Vs. 11 Dawan Landry
  • 3. Ray Rice Vs. Jermaine Lewis
  • 7. Bart Scott Vs. Tony Siragusa
  • 2. Joe Flacco Vs. Brandon Stokley
