Linebacker Tim Williams and defensive lineman Chris Wormley have both signed their rookie contracts

As we’ve learned from Joey Bosa last year, you never do really know about rookie contract situations. Luckily for the Baltimore Ravens, they did not have any of these problems this year. Yesterday Tim Williams and Chris Wormley officially signed their rookie contracts. The two were the only rookies left in the team’s 2017 draft class to sign their deals.

The Ravens confirmed the signings by posting a picture of the whole rookie class on social media:

Getting the two signed is very important for the Ravens. Even though the defense is already loaded, both could see game time as rookies this season. Wormley will compete well with Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce on the defensive line while Williams will compete with veteran Terrell Suggs at pass rusher.  Look for them to be making noise in training camp once it starts up.

Aside from the contract signings, the Ravens have also signed four undrafted free agents to the roster. They added wide receiver Aaron Bailey, linebacker Randy Allen, defensive back Jaylen Hill and offensive tackle Roubbens Joseph. As we get closer to the start of training camp, these could be some names to look out for.

There always seems to be one undrafted free agent that ends up turning some heads. Last season it was defensive tackle Michael Pierce. He had a great rookie season and appeared in all 16 games for the Baltimore Ravens.
