Art Modell Region Round 2:

  • 1. Jonathan Ogden Vs. 8. Elvis Dumervil
  • 5. Steve Smith Sr. Vs. 4. Chris McAlister
  • 6. Trevor Pryce Vs. 3. Anquan Boldin
  • 10. Dennis Pitta Vs. 2. Marshall Yanda

While it’s fairly clear that Ogden will make it out of this region, we could set up an interesting final here. Ogden vs. Marshall Yanda would be a battle between the two best offensive linemen the Ravens have ever seen. Yanda is going against the very beloved tight end, Dennis Pitta. It should be a win for Yanda, but Pitta is a decent underdog to say the least.

Steve Smith Sr. vs. Chris McAlister is a tough one. McAlister could be the best cornerback in Ravens history. He was part of many great defenses, including the 2000 defense that won Super Bowl XXXV. Smith Sr. has a lot of love in Baltimore though; it will be interesting. You can make a case for both players in almost every battle this round has to offer. That’s what makes it gripping.
