John Harbaugh Region Round 2

  • 1. Ed Reed Vs. 8. Shannon Sharpe
  • 12. Matt Stover Vs. 4. Duane Starks
  • 6. C.J. Mosley Vs. 3. Haloti Ngata
  • 7. Jamie Sharper Vs. Peter Boulware

Matt Stover vs. Duane Starks is a brutally tough contest. Stover was the first great kicker in team history. Starks was a great cornerback and a fan favorite. The Ravens first Super Bowl came on defense and Stover field goals. Stover could dive deeper into the tournament but he may be an underdog against Starks.

Five of the eight players in this region were a part of the Ravens first Super Bowl. C.J. Mosley is the only player in this grouping without a Super Bowl ring. That being said, Mosley offers stiff competition against Ngata. He is a Pro Bowl linebacker that is still building his legacy. It’s a battle between a current Ravens player and a Detroit Lion who will always be remembered as a Raven. Ngata was one of the most unique talents Baltimore has ever seen. That combination of size and athleticism is still amazing.
