Bottom line:

The combo of Terrance West and Kenneth Dixon will bring back memories of Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes, or Ray Rice and Willis McGahee. The two backs should be heavily leaned on this season to ensure offensive stability. Quite frankly, the Ravens are a much better team when they run the ball well.

Meanwhile, Danny Woodhead will be a valuable receiver and not much else. Dixon will also be sure to see plenty of time as a receiving option.

For all you fantasy nuts: It may be wise to keep Dixon on your radar. Even with West potentially being a vulture to Dixon in the red-zone and Woodhead grabbing crucial receptions for PPR leagues, Dixon’s value is much greater than their’s combined.

No excuses, Greg Roman. Get your best player the ball and let him work. Even in 12 games, expect Dixon to produce great numbers and give you a glimpse into a very bright future.
