Bringing In Danny Woodhead:

The Ravens focused primarily on defense but you can’t forget about the Danny Woodhead move. Woodhead will bring an extra element to the Ravens passing attack.

. FREE AGENCY: DANNY WOODHEAD . B. I thought the same thing about the Ben Watson pickup last year. Signing Danny Woodhead is nice, but it’s not a huge move. Woodhead is a running back who has made his money as a receiving running back. He has a couple of 80 reception seasons but he is coming off a major injury. If the Ravens are getting the Woodhead that caught 80 passes and scored six touchdowns in 2015, they are getting a nice addition to the team. I thought the idea of signing an Adrian Peterson or a Jaamal Charles would have offered a little more excitement. That being said, Woodhead was the right price and he will give the Ravens a boost in the passing game. Woodhead isn’t just a safety valve for Joe Flacco. He is a guy the Ravens can use to create mismatches and he will rack up yards after the catch..
