Landing Jeremy Maclin:

The Baltimore Ravens sure know how to seal the deal when free agents come to town. The Baltimore Ravens got Jeremy Maclin to ink a two-year deal. This was a huge addition for an offense that needed it like pancakes need syrup. When the Ravens landed Maclin, it became evident that they were going all-in.

FREE AGENCY: JEREMY MACLIN. A+. This was the Ravens best move of the offseason. I had been begging the Ravens to pick up a wide receiver for months. I had pointed out (as did pretty much everybody) that the Ravens had a lack of dependability behind Mike Wallace. Now the Ravens have the makings of a legitimate group at wide receiver. This gives the offense a chance to move the chains more than they did a year ago. Not only did the Ravens replace Steve Smith Sr. they found themselves an upgrade from the 38 year old receiver.
If Breshad Perriman takes the next step and Wallace gives us another good year, we could see Baltimore’s passing attack be pretty decent. You have to give Ozzie Newsome some credit. He waited and waited on the wide receiver position and he made a move. This move makes the entire offseason look like a genius plot from the experienced general manager.
. WR. Baltimore Ravens
