2. In a QB driven league, this defense is going to dominate:

The most important piece to a winning team is the quarterback. This is fairly obvious, just look at what teams make it to the Super Bowl. Quarterbacks have the power to change the game in a way that most players can’t even dream of. The Ravens defense is built to take that power out of the quarterback’s hands. The purple and black now have a bevy of pass rushers and a ton of speed in the secondary.

Must Read: 3 reasons the Ravens defense will wreak havoc

The Ravens went from a team with few pass rushers to a team with a handful of pass rushers. They went from a team with a shorthanded secondary to having a surplus in the back-end of their defense. There isn’t a look that Dean Pees can’t throw at the opposing defense. Terrell Suggs, Matt Judon, Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams are going to get the quarterback. Brandon Boykin is going to dominate as a cornerback who plays over the slot receiver. Tony Jefferson is going to take tight ends out of the picture.

The Ravens defense is not only great, but it’s the kind of defense that will drive great quarterbacks insane. It’s the kind of defense that will force Ben Roethlisberger into mistakes. It’s the kind of defense that actually has a chance to rattle Aaron Rodgers. Baltimore has a defense that is fast, physical and in your face at every level.
