Tight Ends (5)

Nick Boyle

Darren Waller

Crockett Gillmore

Ben Watson

Maxx Williams

Usually I wouldn’t expect the Ravens to carry this many tight-ends, but because of injuries they will have to. This position has ability to be one of the deepest on the roster, but also one of the thinnest.

The big question mark is who takes over the production for Dennis Pitta. There’s a ton of talent at the position but injuries have been a huge problem. Guys like Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams have not been able to stay on the field. Right now Nick Boyle seems to be the only healthy tight-end on the roster.

Darren Waller is the most talented out of the group but he’s raw. He dropped some bad balls last season that cost the Ravens offense. If the catching can improve he could very well have a breakout year. Don’t also count out Ben Watson. The Ravens have kept him on the roster for a reason. If he can come back healthy, he’s an experienced target for Joe Flacco.
