Secondary (9)

Tony Jefferson

Eric Weddle

Jimmy Smith

Marlon Humphrey

Brandon Carr

Lardarius Webb

Brandon Boykin

Maurice Canady

Anthony Levine

The duo of Tony Jefferson and Eric Weddle is one of the most exciting things about this defense this season. On paper they should be terrorizing opposing offenses all season long.

Jimmy Smith and veteran Brandon Carr will the favorites to start at corner with Marlon Humphrey and Maurice Canady playing behind. Smith has dealt with a number of injuries so it’s better to be safe than sorry. You also add in Lardarius Webb who can play in the nickel package.

With Tavon Young out, this opens the door for Brandon Boykin. He comes in with experience playing in the slot and that’s exactly where the Ravens will put him. This allows for Marlon Humphrey to focus on playing the outside, where he’s best suited.

Anthony Levine makes the roster solely for depth purposes. He’s a S/LB hybrid that could see time at both positions. Most of his playing time should come on special teams.
