BALTIMORE, MD – NOVEMBER 27: Wide receiver Breshad Perriman
BALTIMORE, MD – NOVEMBER 27: Wide receiver Breshad Perriman

1. Breshad Perriman

Jeremy Maclin will be the number one receiver for the purple and black, but Perriman is going to generate the most excitement. Perriman is primed to have a breakout season. He has a chemistry with Joe Flacco, something he didn’t have going into last season. He has incredible ability and he’ll be going into the season at 100 percent. That’s something that hasn’t happened for Perriman yet, since he was drafted in 2015.

The Ravens fan base is craving a big time wide receiver. Maclin helps with that, but Perriman becoming a star will give them something they’ve never seen. Baltimore hasn’t had a dynamic young receiver put on a show since the Ravens came to town. They’ve had Derrick Mason come to Baltimore and be a star. They loved it when Anquan Boldin did his thing, the same goes with Steve Smith. Baltimore has never had a guy in his 20’s, who was an absolute superstar at the wide receiver position.

This is what Perriman can be. If Perriman goes from a 33 reception receiver, to a player good for 60-75 grabs Baltimore is going to fall in love. Nothing will get M&T Bank Stadium hopping more than a Perriman touchdown. Perriman has a chance to fill a void. He has a chance to build a special place in the heart of every Ravens fan.
