BALTIMORE, MD – DECEMBER 18: Running back Kenneth Dixon

Kenneth Dixon

It was pretty obvious last season that the Ravens didn’t get all that they could have out of Kenneth Dixon. The Ravens want to get back to running the football, and that should be good news for Dixon’s production. We’ll have to wait four weeks to see Dixon’s fireworks, but believe me, he can put on a show.

If you combined Jamal Lewis and Ray Rice to make the ultimate running back, you’d get Dixon. He has the powerful running style of Lewis and the ability to dazzle that Rice had. He can be a weapon in between the tackles and as a receiver out of the backfield. If the Ravens commit to the running game, Terrance West better look out. That’s because Dixon will probably steal the show.

The Ravens will get big plays out of the running game. Dixon is going to gash defenses with big chunk plays. When he gets into the open field, he is really hard to catch. It’s his ability to make people miss that will result in those fireworks kind of plays. Happy 4th of July everybody! Enjoy the holiday.
