The Bottom Line:

The Baltimore Ravens are a massively upgraded team. The offseason went as well as fans could realistically hope for. The Ravens saw two huge problems coming into the offseason. They saw a secondary they were tired of getting burned by. Therefore the Ravens added a lot to the secondary, while parting with the dysfunctional pieces. The Ravens knew they needed to get more pressure on the quarterback. Ozzie Newsome used the draft as a way to retool their pass rush.

For good measure, the Ravens boosted the offense a little too. They added a legitimate receiver in Jeremy Maclin. They brought in Greg Roman as an assistant coach, so they could fix the running game. If the offensive line doesn’t get in the way, the purple and black will have a great season.
