2. Khalil Mack DE (Oakland Raiders)

When you play the Oakland Raiders, the first thing you think about is Derek Carr and an explosive offense. It is worth a reminder that Oakland has one of the best defensive ends in all of football. Mack rules the edge for the Raiders defense.

He does it as a defensive end, an outside linebacker, really anything the Raiders ask, he can do. He had 73 total tackles last season and he is coming of back to back seasons with double digit sacks. Last season Mack sacked Joe Flacco, but the year before that he was kept off the Ravens’ quarterback. Mack doesn’t just impact the game from a pass rushing standpoint. He stops the run and blows up a ton of plays.

As a whole Oakland’s defensive front looks pretty impressive. Bruce Irvin is another player the Ravens must account for. The Raiders have explosive pieces that can cause problems in the Ravens backfield.
