3. Clay Matthews LB (Green Bay Packers)

Clay Matthews is another one of those jack of all trades players. He is an outside linebacker, and an inside linebacker too. The Green Bay Packers do a lot with Matthews, who is a larger than life star. Matthews is one of the most athletic linebackers in the NFL.

Matthews is coming off a down year, but that’s because he played in just 12 games. When he’s healthy he is one of the most ferocious players in the game. He’s had four seasons with 10 or more sacks. You know he can get to the quarterback. The Ravens will have to account for him on every play.

If the back-end of the Packers’ defense can play better, Green Bay could be an unstoppable force. The offense is led by the very impressive Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has a million weapons to work with. That being said, the defense could be the biggest key to their success. Matthews is the heart and soul of their defense.
