Joe Flacco Lifts the Ravens past the Broncos

This was the greatest performance a Ravens quarterback has ever given. In one of the most compelling football games of all-time, Flacco beat Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos to earn a spot in the AFC Championship Game. Flacco scored three touchdowns and racked up 331 yards. The Ravens won the game in double overtime to the tune of 38-35.

Joe Flacco got the Ravens to overtime with a Hail Mary to Jacoby Jones. It may have been the greatest throw that I have ever seen. Everybody talks about how Rahim Moore blew the coverage. What you need to remember is that Flacco tossed a perfect 70 yard pass to Jones. Flacco had some other huge plays in that game. For example he found Dennis Pitta on a critical third down, with a back shoulder pass. He let Torrey Smith abuse Champ Bailey’s ego with a couple long touchdown passes.
