2. Terrance West:

I will never stop griping about the Ravens inability to run the football last season. The reason why, is because the Ravens were able to run the ball effectively. Terrance West and Kenneth Dixon both had a healthy average per carry. If the Ravens committed to the running game at all, it would have produced results.

West has great vision and he doesn’t waste a lot of time. He’s a north and south rusher who can get the job done. The Ravens just need to feed him the rock. In the first four weeks of the season West should be the main feature of the Ravens backfield. That’s because Kenneth Dixon will miss that time with a suspension.

The Ravens have been generating a lot of buzz about their new commitment to the rushing attack. If Greg Roman and Marty Mornhinweg can change the way the Ravens do things on the ground, and they commit to it, West is going to get on a roll early.
