The Baltimore Ravens are about to get their preseason games underway. Here are 5 Ravens with the most to prove:

Right now the Baltimore Ravens have nearly 100 players in training camp. By the end of the preseason, John Harbaugh has to cut that number down to a 53 man roster. There are some incredibly tough decisions to be made. When we look at the depth chart in this time of the year, we’re not looking at the top. We’re looking at players trying to work themselves into a starting role. We’re looking at bubble players just hoping to get a spot, as well. When the preseason gets started, the results are insignificant but the plays are heavily evaluated.

Every year there are answers to be found in the preseason. It isn’t a season played in the virtual confines of the Madden video games. You may want to be able to simulate these four weeks of football, but you can’t. We are getting preseason football whether you like it or not.

Today we’re going to look at the five players with the most to prove heading into the preseason. These players need to prove themselves for different reasons. Some of them need to ease the Ravens worries because they could be called upon in the regular season. Others need to show they belong on the active roster. Let’s dive right into it.
