3. Tim White:

Tim White has been making big plays in training camp. White signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent. As impressive as he has been in camp, he has a tough path to making the roster. The Ravens have some answers at wide receiver already. White has a pretty similar style of play as Michael Campanaro and Keenan Reynolds. The Ravens are more invested in both of his main competitors.

The fact that Campanaro is extremely injury prone and Reynolds hasn’t achieved anything in the NFL so far helps White’s case. White has the potential to make big plays in the preseason. He is going to get a ton of playing time and a ton of chances. That isn’t always a good thing. Remember Jeremy Butler had a monster preseason last year and he didn’t make the team. White has the most to prove being an undersized player that didn’t get drafted. He has to really wow John Harbaugh and the coaching staff to even have a shot.

White is a slot receiver who has kick returning skills. Making plays on special teams could help White make his mark. The Ravens have had a hard time finding hidden gems at the wide receiver position. We have to see if White is the next version of Butler or a diamond in the rough.
