Joe Schiller- Tim Williams

While Terrell Suggs will likely not be on the field at all this preseason, it allows the younger pass rushers to see increased reps. One exciting player to look out for on Thursday will be Tim Williams.

The third-round pick has first round talents, but dropped in the draft because of some off the field issues. But with his talent and Alabama connection, Williams was too much for Ozzie to pass up.

From what we’ve heard from training camp, Williams has looked good. He’s putting in work against the Ravens offensive lineman and making some look silly. This shouldn’t be surprising considering how dominant he was at Alabama. With a veteran like Terrell Suggs to work under, this is exactly where the Ravens want Williams to be. Williams is explosive off he line and flat out knows how to get to the quarterback. He should have a field day working against the Redskins’ back ups in the 3-4 defense.

If Williams impresses in the preseason, we could very well see him get significant game-time on the field this season.
