 2. Tim White:

Ravens fans have been hearing a lot about Tim White so far during training camp. White showed up in the first preseason game. He caught a 33 yard touchdown pass in the second half of the game. He got some looks as a kick returner but that was his only reception of the game. If you’re going to have one catch, making it a touchdown is never a bad idea.

White’s touchdown gave a lot for us to get excited about. Not only did he burn past the cornerback covering him, but he adjusted to a mildly under thrown football to catch the ball in the end zone. White showed moves and quickness. He looks like a player that could always be a big play threat. White has been generating more buzz than anybody in training camp, so it was nice to see him bring it in the game.

The Ravens had a young group of receivers in this game. There was no Jeremy Maclin or Mike Wallace. It was a game where all the players available at the receiver position were players with something to prove. White has potential. It’s early and he has to keep doing a good job. The bottom line is that he put in a good start.
