Preseason game three is now in the books, and with that came several Ravens players increasing their chances of making the final 53 man roster.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Buffalo Bills in the third game of the preseason and improved to 3-0. Several young players made their cases even stronger for belonging on this team. You could say that some of them cemented their spot on the final 53 man roster already after three strong game performances in the preseason.

Here are five players who really helped themselves against the Buffalo Bills:

Jaylen Hill

I’ll start with the most obvious in Jaylen Hill. As an undrafted rookie, Jaylen Hill has played extremely well in all three preseason games for the Ravens. He has made two interceptions, including one tonight against Bills backup quarterback Nathan Peterman.

Hill has shown sound technique and a knack for finding the football. He’s one of those guys who just seem to be in the right place at the right time quite often. Hill would be a good fit in the slot cornerback position if he continues to play this well, which was supposed to be occupied by second-year cornerback Tavon young before he tore his ACL.

I am very excited to continue watching Jaylen Hill, and in my opinion, he has already locked himself a spot on the roster. It’s always nice to see an undrafted rookie play well, especially one who was a walk on to camp. Nobody knew who Jaylen Hill was before, and now he’s quickly becoming a fan favorite.
