The Baltimore Ravens will have a tough decision to make once 53-man roster cuts come this weekend. Will they decide to keep Josh Woodrum?

Notice something different about the Baltimore Ravens roster this preseason? As we enter the fourth and final preseason game, they still hold a 90-man roster.

Thanks to new rule changes this offseason, teams do not have to shave their rosters down in the middle of the preseason. They now have a 90-man roster until after the final preseason game. This allows to teams to evaluate more backups and bubble players that they wouldn’t have been able to before. It may no seem like anything, but one or two of those players could make a difference during the season.

One of those players could be backup quarterback Josh Woodrum. Woodrum has broken on to the scene this preseason. With Joe Flacco out, Woodrum has gotten extensive playing time. Because of his play, many people are calling for him to overtake Ryan Mallett or at least be taken as a third quarterback on the 53-man roster.

The Ravens are going to have a tough decision to make come the roster deadline on Saturday. Has Woodrum done enough to stay on the roster or are the Ravens better off just keeping Mallett?

I take a look at the arguments for both sides.
