The Baltimore Ravens have officially signed 7 players to their practice squad. They have three more spots to fill.

After the Baltimore Ravens spent the last two days trimming their roster, they’ve had the chance to add players back. This time, it’s for the practice squad.

Each NFL team is able to carry a 10-man practice squad during the season and the Ravens have filled seven of those initial positions. Here’s a look at what they are working with:

Practice Squad (7/10 spots filled)

DB Reggie Porter

FB Ricky Ortiz

WR Quincy Adeboyejo

OL Maurquice Shakir

LB Boseko Lokombo

TE Ryan Malleck

RB Alex Collins

The only new addition here is Alex Collins. The second year running back was waived by the Seahawks yesterday and now finds a home with the Ravens. As a rookie, Collins appeared in 11 games for the Seahawks. He rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown and was also a contributor in the passing game. He caught 11 balls for 84 yards on the season. The Ravens need depth at the position after taking just three backs on to the 53-man roster.

It’s important to note that offensive lineman Matt Skura is also expected to be rejoining the team. He wasn’t listed in the Ravens official press release, but the signing was reported by Jeff Zrebiec. This means that Skura could be added back on to the 53-man roster. At 4 p.m. today, the Ravens will have to place cornerback Maurice Canady on Injured Reserve. This keeps him eligible to return when healthy, but it opens up a spot on the active roster. If Skura isn’t added on, he should land on the practice squad. Skura provides depth and he’s shown versatility playing at both guard and center this preseason.
