The Baltimore Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. today, here is everything you need to know to watch the game.
Thursday night’s opening game gave us a glimpse of the regular season, but things start to really ramp up today.
There are 26 teams are in action today, including the Baltimore Ravens. After a disappointing 8-8 season, the Ravens are looking to get back to the playoffs. The come up against the Bengals, who are in the same boat after a 6-9-1 season. Both teams have added talent this offseason and are ready to rival the Steelers for the top spot in the AFC North.
Joe Flacco is finally back from injury and the offense has yet to prove they can be a consistent threat. The offense has to commit to a balanced attack to have a chance against the Bengals. Luckily, the Bengals are missing two of their top defensive players in Vontaze Burfict and Adam “Pacman” Jones.
On the other side, the Ravens defense looks as good as advertised. A top-10 defense last season added even more talent with the likes of Tony Jefferson and Brandon Carr. They were a top unit in the preseason and are looking to carry that over into the regular season. It’s not going to be easy, as they come up against one of the most explosive offensive units in the NFL. A.J. Green has had some of his best games against the Ravens and is looking for another career day
