The Baltimore Ravens come off an embarrassing loss against the Jaguars, but here are three reasons why they can turn things around.

The Baltimore Ravens are back from London after a game they’ll want to forget. In their first game across the pond the Ravens looked nothing like the 2-0 team we saw to start the season. They were flat on both sides of the ball and were crushed by the Jaguars 44-7.

After the loss we saw all of the criticism pouring in. From everything to the pregame protests to how terrible Joe Flacco played, it was well heard from all ends of the spectrum. But is it time to go into panic mode this soon? I’d say not so fast. The Ravens have their problems to address but they can still very well turn things around.

Here are three reasons why they can make this happen.

3. The AFC North might not be as good as we think

In the past we’ve seen the AFC North be one of the most competitive divisions in all of football. Just about any given year two or even three teams had the chance to make the playoffs. The same narrative was pushed before this season, but it hasn’t panned out that way so far.

Through three games, no one team looks like they are a front runner to win the division. The Browns are struggling as expected and the Bengals have not performed to the level we’d expect with all the talent they have. Even the Steelers haven’t looked great. They came in as clear favorites but I can’t say that at this point in the season. The AFC North is the only division right now to have two winless teams. That’s an ideal situation to be in for the Ravens.

In all likelihood, the best chance for the Ravens to make the playoffs is by winning the division, but it might not be as tough of a road as we originally thought. They can make things much easier with a win against the Steelers this Sunday.
