The Baltimore Ravens are set to battle the Pittsburgh Steelers in Baltimore. This could be the biggest game of the year. The first big thing to think about is that this is a must win game for the Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens must defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 4. There is no getting around the importance of a victory here. It is the Ravens top divisional rival. The best path to the playoffs is winning the AFC North and beating the Steelers would go a long way towards that goal. The Ravens are coming off a bad loss and have to travel to Oakland to play the Raiders, in week 5. It isn’t far fetched to see the Ravens fall to 2-3; in fact it’s the self destruction many people were expecting the Ravens to bring into fruition.

The purple and black have a talented defense, a decent running game and a coach that has won the Super Bowl. This is a team that has no interest in a good year. Baltimore’s football team still believes to its core that they can contend for a championship. This game against the Steelers is the kind of moment where a championship caliber team steps up. Fans will learn a lot about their football team in this game.

While the Steelers lost to the Chicago Bears, it was hardly a confidence crippling loss. The Bears played well at home and won in overtime. The Steelers host the Jaguars in week 5. Hopefully, for the Ravens’ sake, Jacksonville can have another win vs. the AFC North. It just seems like a game the Steelers will win. Pittsburgh does have some tough tests in the coming weeks, including battles with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions. Baltimore just can’t depend on the Steelers slipping to keep pace. They must knock down the defending division champions.
