Ah, another installment to the Ravens-Steelers rivalry is upon is. Both teams are 2-1 and looking to bounce back from embarrassing losses. Here are 3 predictions I have for the game tomorrow.

There’s nothing better than a Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers rivalry. These two teams meet for the first time this season in what’s set to be a great game with early playoff implications. Anytime both these teams meet it’s close, low-scoring and exciting.

How will the Ravens fare today? Here are three predictions.

Alex Collins will emerge as the starting RB.

The Ravens have had a very solid ground attack so far this season. They have lacked a game changing running back though. Alex Collins has been a big play waiting to happen every time he’s touched the field in his first two games with the Ravens. He is explosive, elusive, and hardly ever goes down on first contact.

Terrance West might have dug a hole for himself last week when he fumbled the ball, resulting in points for the Jaguars. There’s isn’t much that head coach John Harbaugh hates more than fumbling. We’ve seen players put in his doghouse for fumbling before and I wouldn’t be surprised to see West in it for most of Sunday’s game. The starting role could be up for grabs between Collins and Buck Allen right now.

I can’t lie and say I’m not rooting for Alex Collins to take the starting job from the other running backs on the team. Something about him has really made me like him. I see potential with him. I just hope the Ravens give him a fair shot to showcase his abilities. I think he will see a bulk of the carries against the Steelers and that will be the end of the story. He will take the job and run with it, no pun intended.
