After two straight losses, the Baltimore Ravens take on the Oakland Raiders. Here is what the Ravens need to do to beat the silver and black.

The Baltimore Ravens have lost two games in a row. They have beaten themselves. In the Jacksonville game the Ravens found themselves barely going through the motions after getting down early. The Steelers took advantage of three turnovers and wore out the Ravens offense. Baltimore has the worst ranked passing game in the NFL. Flacco has thrown six interceptions, and has a passer rating of 65.0. That’s pretty brutal.

The past two weeks put the Ravens’ biggest fears on display. Going into the season, it seemed if the offense could just be average, they could win football games with a dominant defense. The plan worked in the first two weeks, though it was against two awful teams. In the Ravens consecutive losses the offense has been putrid and they have played some of the ugliest football you’ll ever see. The Ravens have been one of the least entertaining teams to watch over the past couple of weeks. Things have to change, and this change has to take place on the road, against the Raiders.

The Baltimore Ravens started the season off so strong, that it makes you wonder if they can get things back together. The Ravens clearly were behooved by an easy start to their season with games against the lowly Bengals and the hopeless Browns. However the Ravens played really good football in their 2-0 start. Dominant wins like that don’t happen by accident. If the Ravens played like they did against the Browns and the Bengals for all four weeks of the season, they really could be 4-0. Can the Ravens get back to that dominant style of performance? Here are three big things to think about in this very huge game against the Raiders.
