The Baltimore Ravens have a tough test against the Minnesota Vikings. The  4-2 Vikings are one of the best teams in the NFC.

The Baltimore Ravens travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, this Sunday. When you look at the Minnesota Vikings, you see a team that doesn’t do a lot wrong. They are a well coached team. Mike Zimmer has everything rolling. His defense is one of the best units in the entire league. Pat Shurmur has overcome the on and off again status of Sam Bradford, not to mention the loss of Dalvin Cook, due to injury. Shurmur’s offense is fun to watch, he calls a brilliant game. The Vikings are a tough team, and their new stadium is gorgeous and loud.

Here is a look at the Vikings by the numbers. The Vikings are 19th in points scored per game but their offense moves the ball very well. They have the 10th best offense in the league, in terms of yards per game. Case Keenum has been efficient. He’s 102-159 passing for 1,134 yards and has five touchdowns to 1 interception.

The Battle will be won in the trenches:

Jerick McKinnon has taken the leadership role in the backfield and he’s averaging 4.6 yards per carry. The Ravens are 31st in rushing yards per game, though they should be getting Brandon Williams and Carl Davis back this week. That should help Baltimore in a big way.

The Vikings defense shouldn’t have much problem with the Ravens offense. The Ravens have the second worst passing attack in the NFL. The Vikings have a top 5 defense. They only allow 295.5 yards per game which is incredibly good. The Vikings defense has created big plays this season. Everson Griffen has seven of the Vikings 16 sacks. The Vikings have seven interceptions on the season.
