It’s time to give the Ravens their mid-season grades. We begin with the Ravens field general, Joe Flacco:

C -. Joe Flacco has clearly struggled this season. There is no way getting around it either. Through eight games he has just 1,290 passing yards. He is orchestrating the league’s worst passing attack and he has thrown two more interceptions than touchdowns. Flacco missed the entire preseason and he has been rusty. He has had a few good games sprinkled in. Maybe he can get it going in the next eight games but the first half of the season wasn’t good enough.. QB. Baltimore Ravens. JOE FLACCO

Position Group. Ravens. RUNNING BACKS. B+. The running backs are getting the job done for the most part. The best running back the Ravens have is without question Alex Collins. He leads the NFL in yards per carry. Collins has been the most exciting player on the field. Other than his early fumbling problems, Collins has been an incredible asset to a struggling offense. Buck Allen is a decent runner and a good receiver out of the backfield. Bobby Rainey has a kickoff return for a touchdown and Danny Woodhead is expected to make a huge impact when he comes back to the action. The Ravens have a top 10 rushing attack, so their grade has to be pretty high.
