The upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans is definitely the Baltimore Ravens most important game this season.
The Baltimore Ravens have struggled all season but still sit here with a 4-4 record. With how mediocre the rest of the AFC has been, this team has a real chance to reach the postseason. They also have a fairly easy schedule ahead of them. However, tomorrow’s game against the Titans might make or break the Ravens’ season.
We never know which team will show up, but boy do we need the good one on Sunday. The Titans are coming off of a bye week and have gotten healthier. Marcus Mariota’s legs should be healthy, and rookie wide receiver Corey Davis is expected to be back. The Titans have their backs against the wall needing a win, just the Ravens.
But maybe, just maybe, the Ravens team that showed up last Thursday night can appear again. If the Ravens could possibly steal a game in Tennessee, they would head into the bye week at 5-4. After the break, the Ravens next 3 games are as follows.
Must Read: Baltimore Ravens who deserve a 2017 Pro Bowl selection
Week 11: at Packers (with a backup QB)
Week 12: Texans (with a backup QB)
Week 13: Lions
If the Ravens can go 3-1 in the next four weeks, they would be 8-5. I don’t think they win Week 14 at the Steelers, but after that, the schedule gets even easier.
Week 15: at Browns (doesn’t really matter who the QB is)
Week 16: Colts (with a backup QB)
Week 17: Bengals
Call me crazy, but I think the Ravens schedule could play out where they can be 11-5 at the end of the season. I think it will be more in the 9-7 range but if they can get to nine or 10 wins, then who knows? And as all Baltimore Ravens fans know, anything can happen in the playoffs, you just have to get there.
If the Ravens can go into Tennessee, get a nasty win, and get the heck out of there at 5-4, they are sitting pretty. With as bad as the Ravens have been, you also have to give them credit for putting themselves in a position for a potential playoff run. With all of the injuries, this team hasn’t given up at all. They might be boring to watch, but it certainly won’t matter if they are one of the 12 teams still playing after the season.
