The Baltimore Ravens have some pretty incredible fans. One of the Ravens biggest fans, perhaps the most passionate fan, is John “Havok” Adkins. Why he’s deserving of your vote:
What I love about Mr. Adkins is that he is a force for good. He funnels his passion towards great things. This is an excerpt from Nick Tylwalk that talks about the awesomeness that Havok is all about:
"“One thing I started with another person in Denver, one of the Broncos superfans is called Fans Against Violence,” Adkins said. “You’ve seen it, you’ve seen videos where people are punching each other out or stabbing each other. Everybody has their jobs and they want to get away from them and watch sports, but the last thing they want to do is take their son or daughter or parents to a game and have to worry about getting beat up. So we go to the games and we promote that, just to have a good time. You’re going to get heckled, but you go there to have a good time."
That’s awesome work by an awesome fan. He is the loudest and proudest fan and he has a signature look. Adkins shows us what sports is supposed to be about. Sports is for your unbridled joy and enthusiasm. That’s what Adkins brings to the table and he does it in a very admirable way. When you see Adkins cheering the Ravens on, you see a world class fan.
The Fan we need:
The Baltimore Ravens need fans like Adkins more than ever. The Ravens have missed the playoffs in three of the last four years. This year isn’t going the way the Ravens Flock has envisioned. This is the moment we need to come together and give Baltimore something to celebrate. Adkins is an amazing person, who is giving this fanbase everything he has on a consistent basis.
