Baltimore Ravens should be afraid of staying the same

The Baltimore Ravens need to change things up after missing the playoffs three straight years:

Since the Baltimore Ravens won their second Super Bowl, the franchise has failed. The Ravens have a 39-41 record from 2013 to the present day. While the Ravens have technically only had one losing record under John Harbaugh, the last five years have been rough. There is no way that the Ravens can go without some level of change after back to back late season collapses. The question remains how much change does owner, Steve Bisciotti sign Baltimore up for?

The truth is that Harbaugh has gone through enough struggles to allow his termination to be justifiable. If it wasn’t for the 2014 season Harbaugh would have been fired already. If it wasn’t for the incredibly fun playoff win against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the almost had them kind of game in New England, Harbaugh would have been in trouble sooner than this. 2014 was the oasis in a never-ending desert of tough seasons. The big difference was Gary Kubiak as the offensive coordinator and 17 sacks from Elvis Dumervil.

Ravens fans have been asking how much credit Bisciotti can afford Harbaugh for his Super Bowl win half a decade ago? That’s a fair question however one has to wonder why he gets so much credit for the 9-7 2014 season? The 2014 year gave the impression that Harbaugh’s glory days could be restored. The truth is that since the Super Bowl XLVII victory, the Ravens have had a very unimpressive stretch of seasons.
