The Baltimore Ravens have a lot of negatives that will swirl around the franchise this offseason. They also have some bright spots as we look towards the future:

The Ravens missed the postseason but sulking is not something the franchise can do for months on end. This team needs to start getting to work on next year. With an eye on the future let’s talk about the members of the purple and black that took positive steps in 2017.

In this list we’re only concerned with players who improved their standing with the team from 2016. Rookies and newcomers won’t be featured. Today we’re focusing on the growth of players in the last year. When Alex Collins came into the fold, he changed everything but this was his first season with the Ravens.

With that in mind we get to the list. These five players boosted themselves. They were part of the solution, not the problem.
