3. Tavon Young fitting back into the equation:

Just like I think people forgot how good Lewis is, I think fans have forgotten how good Tavon Young is. The Ravens secondary could be incredibly good (with or without Brandon Carr). Jimmy Smith and Marlon Humphrey are elite cornerbacks. We know Maurice Cannady can play and don’t forget about Young. Shareece Wright was so bad in 2016 that Young got some experience as a starter and he did pretty well.

The Ravens have three young cornerbacks that they should be excited about. Humphrey looks like the future star of the position. It’s not a stretch to see Cannady or Young become the long-term answer at the second cornerback spot. Young is perhaps the most undervalued player the Ravens have going into the next season.

When Young went down with an injury during OTA’s, it felt crushing. When the Ravens got things going it was almost easy to forget that Young wasn’t out there. Young is such a feisty player. One thing he is incredibly good at is playing in a receiver’s space without drawing penalties. These are just several things that can get you excited about the 2018 season. This offseason can’t move fast enough.
