Round 6- Riley Ferguson, QB, Memphis

Joe Flacco isn’t getting any younger and the front office needs to eventually find an heir apparent. Ferguson has shown the talent to possibly turn into a starter down the road. He had a huge game this year against UCLA where he outplayed possible number one pick Josh Rosen. This would be a draft and stash where Ferguson could learn under Flacco and maybe fill in when necessary.

Players Drafted After:

  • Daurice Fountain, WR, Northern Iowa
  • Durham Smythe, TE, Notre Dame
  • Tanner Lee, QB, Nebraska

Round Six Compensatory Pick- Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame

I am super shocked that St. Brown would last this long in the draft, standing at 6’5″ and possessing good speed, St. Brown is what teams look for in pass catchers now a days. In this instance St. Brown is a victim of a less than stellar quarterback throwing him the ball. Taking three receivers might seem like overkill but with the lackluster talent at the position last year and the commitment to get better this year its impossible to not go get talent like St. Brown possesses.

Players Drafted After:

  • Tray Matthews, S, Auburn
  • Foley Fatukasi, DT, UConn
  • Cam Serigne, TE, Wake Forest
