3. Where do the Ravens go from here?

The Ravens have been interested in Eric Ebron according to reports. The tight end position is definitely an area of need for the Ravens. The Ravens have to fill out their offense and they probably are not done in free agency. The Ravens are probably going to kick the tires on some more receivers. The point here is that the Ravens can’t stop adding to the offense and there is no reason to think that Ozzie Newsome and Eric DeCosta are going to take it easy.

This signing does give the Ravens more leeway in free agency though. If the Ravens wanted to attack their defensive needs in free agency, it is now at least acceptable. An inside linebacker could be in play to give the Ravens something they haven’t had since Zach Orr’s injury forced him into retirement. Navarro Bowman and Kevin Minter are two players I’d keep my eyes on. The Ravens should still focus on the offense but now that they have a legitimate stud receiver, they can think about other things again.

The most important thing for the Ravens is no longer free agency. The Ravens have to hit with their draft picks. The best place for the Ravens to address the tight end position is in the NFL Draft. Dallas Goedert would be a more than acceptable use of the 16th pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. This is also a great tight end draft class, so it doesn’t have to come in the first round. Of course, you know who I want the Ravens to take. Courtland Sutton looks like a superstar in the making. The draft is now the most important part of the Ravens offseason. Getting Crabtree was huge for this team because it sets the Ravens up to accomplish everything they can dream up before the season starts.
