Baltimore Ravens 7 round mock draft:

The NFL Draft is only a few weeks out and that means its time for a fresh Baltimore Ravens mock draft! With so many changes occurring with the Ravens and the NFL as a whole, it has caused many things to change since the last mock that I released. Since the last mock the Ravens have added Michael Crabtree and John Brown. Many pundits might think that they would be finished adding pieces to the receiver room, but that idea couldn’t be farther from the truth in my opinion. The Ravens have done a nice job at bringing in some valuable pieces for Flacco, but they still have A LOT of work to do if they don’t want to be put in a bad position going forward.

They still have needs like adding an impact receiver, an offensive threat at tight end, and a future stud at running back. The Ravens also have to do a lot of work on improving a defensive group that allowed a crucial late touchdown against the Bengals and caused them to watch the playoffs from their couches. The Ravens have a lack of talent opposite CJ Mosley, they need another corner with Jimmy Smiths future in question, and could always use more pass rushing. Luckily there is some great talent available in every round that can help fill the Ravens biggest needs. This draft is tailor made for the Ravens.

In Depth Analysis:

The positions that this draft are deepest line right up with what I listed earlier. The receiver group in this draft doesn’t possess the usual bonafide superstar (Unless you ask site expert Chris Schisler about Courtland Sutton) but it does have some real difference makers in the first round. The tight end and running back groups are also some of the deepest in pure talent I have seen in years. There are studs at the running back group that are potentially available in rounds one through four.  The Ravens could have a very Saints-esque draft this year and make a huge improvements for next year with how much depth is at every need.
