Round 4: Kemoko Turay, Outside Linebacker, Rutgers

The Ravens finally go defense in round 4 with the selection of Kemoko Turay. Now the Ravens took two pass rushers in last years draft, but you can never have too many players that can get to the quarterback. Also with the jury still being out on both Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams with minimal production last year and Terrell Suggs not getting any younger the time is now to add talent to the position.

Turay was a Freshman All American back in 2014 and knows how to bring the pressure to the quarterback. He posses a great build at 6’5 and 250 pounds with a athletic build that already looks NFL ready. Turay has a great first step that can allow him to get around slower blockers, but lacks the ability to absorb contact if he becomes chipped.

He has similar ability to Tim Williams in the fact he is a pure pass rusher, but needs to get better at setting the edge if he’s going to be more than a rotational piece. If Turay is there in the fourth round he would make an awesome developmental pass rusher who can learn behind Terrell Suggs.
