3. It would be exciting:

The Ravens want to sell tickets at M&T Bank Stadium and this is a good way to do it. Drafting a play-maker would excite the fanbase. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Goedert would end up being a very popular jersey. Ravens fans have a love affair with good tight ends. You still see a lot of Todd Heap jerseys when you go to the stadium. Dennis Pitta jerseys will never go out of style either. Fans are going to complain about any pick, but once Goedert takes the field, he is going to give people a reason to watch the Ravens.

From the word go, Goedert could be the Ravens best player. He would certainly be the only Ravens weapon that points to a bright future for the offense. A first round pick gets a fifth year option. That makes getting the first round pick that much more crucial, it promises five years with a great player. Goedert is going to make plays down the field. He is going to make one handed catches and he’s going to end up going to Pro Bowls. The fans would get an extra jolt of excitement from a player like Goedert.
