Connor Brooks: Mike McGlinchey OT, Notre Dame

This may not be fans favorite pick, but if the team decides to stay at pick No. 16, it’s the right one. I honestly hope they do trade down to acquire more picks, but the 16th pick is a hard pick to trade out of. Mike McGlinchey would give the Ravens a dominant pair of tackles along with Ronnie Stanley, who also shared the line together in college at Notre Dame. McGlinchey is a great athlete for his behemoth frame and is a great run blocker. That would give Baltimore two offensive tackles that are excellent run blockers, so it will fit well into their offensive scheme.

The bottom line

As you can tell, there varying opinions for the Ravens in the first round. Picks range everywhere from an offensive lineman, quarterback, wide receiver to even a defensive end. The Ravens truly are a mystery team heading into the draft given their history. That’s credit to Newsome and the touted front office in Baltimore.
